Conference Details

Our mission is to foster research and examine theory related to children's spiritual characteristics, growth, and experiences. Presenters and those who attend represent a wide variety of theological and denominational backgrounds. We dialogue with one another, discuss theory, and share research related to children's spiritual development. The goals of the conference include:

  1. Networking with Christians who are currently conducting research and who are writing on children's spiritual development and spiritual formation
  2. Providing a forum for the integration of biblical, theological, and social science perspectives on children's spiritual experiences, development, and formation
  3. Exploring innovative approaches to children's ministry and providing encouragement

Registration for the conference begins in Spring 2011. Go to the Society's website for updated information on the conference and how to register for it at www.childspirituality.org
