The Christian Education Journal

The Christian Education Journal is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year by Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, in cooperation with the North American Professors of Christian Education (NAPCE). The purpose of the journal is to strengthen the conception and practice of Christian education in church and parachurch settings through:
- Encoruaging reflection on the foundations of Christian education and implications for ministry practice
- Exploring the integration and application of social science theory and research to educational ministry concerns
- Fostering improved teaching in the field of Christian education at colleges and seminaries, equipping people for leadership in this field
- Promoting the assessment of our changing cultural context and of contemporary educational ministry needs, models, and trends
- Providing reviews of new books in the field of Christian education and other related disciplines that impact educational ministry

The Christian Education Journal (ISSN 0277-9935) is published twice a year (Fall and Spring) at an annual subscription rate of $32 per year within the United States and $40 for all other countries. Students may subscribe for $20 per year with proof of full-time student status. NAPCE membership includes a subscription to the journal. Annual subscriptions are available to anyone whether a member of NAPCE or not.

Bulk Rate Subscriptions for Your Students
The Christian Education Journal has a special "bulk order" opportunity for NAPCE members who serve as faculty in a Christian higher education context who wish to provide copies of the journal to their students. Orders of ten or more one-year subscriptions (two issues per year) for student use can be purchased for $10.00 per student. This is a savings of 50% off of the regular student rate. These bulk orders are shipped to the faculty member for distribution to the students. Orders must be received by August 15th for the upcoming academic year (Fall issue in October, Spring issue in April). Please contact the editor of the CEJ for further details on the bulk order program and for help in placing this order. Unfortunately, this opportunity is only for shipping within the U.S.
